He further emphasized that the signal was completely accidental, happening amid the excitement following the team’s final touchdown. “I simply put up the incorrect digit,” he remarked. “The action was inadvertently done. I’m not kidding. Should you call it accidental, you can. However, it got corrected pretty quick.”

- Panthers owner David Tepper was fined $300,000 for tossing a beverage at spectators in early 2024.
