The Gaming Giant Hires Popular Battle Royale Developer to Boost Struggling Action Game Project Ethos

2K Games has welcomed a seasoned producer from Respawn Entertainment to direct the studio crew at their internal studio, which is currently developing the forthcoming third-person action-packed title known as Project Ethos.

Management Transition Comes After Mixed Response

Brinkman takes on the leadership position at the development studio following the exit of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to the game's disappointing early showing last autumn.

Recently, 2K president David Ismailer informed employees about this organizational change through an official communication, which highlighted that playtesting had indicated the need for a more defined vision.

The president expressed that the developers is now overhauling the project with a revised focus, aiming to better meet player expectations.
